In 2015 REPUBLIC OF GAMERS©, an esports brand under ASUStek Computer Inc , decided to use cyberpunk as the core spirit of the brand, with two taglines: “For Those Who Dare” and “Join The Republic”.
Visual art is key for ROG to link to ACG/Pop/Cyberpunk culture and build a brand image to appeal to the Gen Z audience.
